Located on Exchange Street, in the heart of Portland’s bustling Old Port, our Maine store has become the go-to place for residents and tourists alike to find the perfect gifts since 2018 and it is because of our knowledgeable and friendly staff. Over the years, we have worked hard to create a space where everyone who comes in will feel welcome- from our customers to our dedicated team. Our ideal candidate is someone who is outgoing and organized, has excellent people skills, and a fabulous sense of humor.

About the position:
In this role, you will be responsible for daily operations in the retail store including (but not limited to): greeting and helping customers find the perfect item; making sales/checking out customers; receiving, unpacking, and merchandising new products; tidying/cleaning the store.
This is a year-round, part-time role starting with 2-3 shifts (10-15 hours) a week with the potential for more hours during the summer and holiday seasons.
All part-time positions include an employee discount, a quarterly longevity bonus, 401k after one year, and predictable scheduling with weekday availability a must.
About You:
– You have retail experience and are happy helping customers and manning a register.
– You are outgoing, and personable, have exceptional customer service skills, and can establish and foster strong relationships with customers.
– You are self-motivated and a quick learner.
– You are able to lift 50 lbs and are comfortable working on your feet.
– You are comfortable working alone and within a team and are a clear, effective communicator.
– You have a good sense of humor.
